Q. I can't mount the CD-ROM device as shown in the release notes or the booklet under OSF/1.

Q: I am getting: /dev/rz4c on /cdrom: No such device

A: The ISO CD driver is an OPTION on OSF. You need to reconfigure your kernel. As root do the following:

   doconfig
   Enter new name for kernel:
Select "ISO 9660 Compact Disk File System (CDFS)" from KERNEL OPTION Menu
(You may need to select other options per your system).

Then you have to move the new vmunix file into place and reboot. If your kernel is named /sys/ZIPPY/vmunix move the vmunix file to /vmunix and reboot.
