UNIRAS 7.1 Release Notes
1.1 Release Overview
This release of the UNIRAS products is called
7.1.
UNIRAS 7.1 contains new versions of Toolmaster/agX
, FGL/AGL, and the Gsharp
Professional Edition 1 and Gsharp Web
Edition. Toolmaster UIM/X is not
included in this release. Many reported bugs
have been fixed and some enhancements introduced in the Toolmaster/agX
libraries and Gsharp.

1.3 Toolmaster/agX Features
Euro symbol support
Support for the Euro symbol as a UNICLD symbol
8364.
GIF support
GIF support is included in this release as an
output device.
Query the driver name of the selected device
A new routine XuDriverQuery to query the name of
the graphics driver of the
selected device.
1.4 Toolmaster/agX Bugfixes
agX/CGM user
reported bugs fixed
- XuCGMGenMetafileCreate did not use the
filename given. This has been fixed.
- Empty CGM log files were created when
interpreting CGM files. This has now been
corrected.
agX/GRAPHICS user
reported bugs fixed
- Circles and ellipses did not work under
Windows 95. This has now been corrected.
1.5. FGL/AGL Features
- Version 7.0 Java driver did not work. This
has now been corrected.
- The command PS_EXTRA used to select output
tray was missing from the profile system
in 7.0. A profile option ‘outputTray’
has now been added to 7.1.
- XuUPIFormattedfileRead and
XuUPIFormattedfileWrite do not close the
file. This has now been corrected.
- Raster windows driver (SWINL7) crashed when
invoked. This has now been fixed.
- Undefined values set in XuUndefined were
handled incorrectly in the double-precision
library. This has now been corrected.
- Using small x-coordinates in
XuChartSplineSmoothCalc caused the program
to crash. This has now been corrected.
- "it" LOCALE or LC_NUMERIC (any
non-period decimal symbol) caused parsing
failure of the profile file UNIRAS.prf. This
has now corrected.
